NOTICE is hereby given of a Planning Committee Meeting which you are summoned to attend.


This Meeting is for the purpose of considering and finalising the Committee’s recommendations on the Planning Applications listed below, which will include carrying out any site meetings deemed necessary.

    It was RESOLVED that the minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 1 April 2026 are a true and accurate record.

    It was RESOLVED to support the application on the grounds that it would be beneficial for the town and could bring employment and visitor economy benefits but that comments should include a request for the roof design to be reconsidered so that it is more in keeping with the overall character of the site.

    • The Town Clerk be authorised to prepare the necessary documentation.
    • A draft be brought back to the Planning Committee on 28 April 2026 before submission.
