NOTICE is hereby given of a Planning Committee Meeting which you are summoned to attend.
This Meeting is for the purpose of considering and finalising the Committee’s recommendations on the Planning Applications listed below, which will include carrying out any site meetings deemed necessary.

It was RESOLVED to OBJECT to planning application PA26/04559 on the grounds that the developer voluntarily entered into the original planning obligations and should be required to fulfil those commitments. The Committee considered that removing or reducing the agreed obligations would undermine confidence in the planning system, delay essential infrastructure provision and establish an unacceptable precedent.
It was further RESOLVED that an open letter be sent to Cornwall Council Members, the North Cornwall MP and the Secretary of State seeking their views on the proposed release of the developer from its legal planning obligations.
